Kevin Dawson brings more than a decade of high-level legislative, political, and policy experience, including senior roles in both the House and Senate.  As Chief of Staff to U.S. Representative Mike Kelly (R-PA), he directed the Congressman's policy agenda while leading all fundraising efforts to support his political priorities.  

 

Prior to serving as Congressman Mike Kelly’s Chief of Staff, Dawson was Health Policy Advisor to U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy (R-LA), a nationally recognized leader on health care reform and bipartisan policy development. During his time in the office, Kevin advised Senator Cassidy on healthcare matters before both the Finance and HELP Committees.  He shepherded Senator Cassidy’s FDA User Fee Authorization Act priorities in 2022 and oversaw the pharmaceutical, medical device, and ESRD portfolios for the health team.

​Earlier in his career, Dawson served as a Professional Staff Member on the Senate Budget Committee, where he specialized in health policy and developed firsthand insight into the budget reconciliation process and its role in shaping major federal health care legislation.  His combined experience across tax, trade, and health care policy makes him one of the Hill’s most seasoned and versatile strategists.

Kevin received his Master’s in Business Administration from Johns Hopkins University and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Wheaton College.
